The Method

The method taught at the Yoga al Castello studio is "Yoga Sensibile", developed over thirty years of study of Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and postural and breathing rehabilitation techniques. By training attention and breathing during asana practice, one cultivates inner peace, strength, balance, flexibility, and the joy of being.

The Studio

Immersed in the natural scenery of Veio Park and set within an enchanted village seemingly suspended in time, Farnese Castle is home to the “Yoga al Castello” Studio. The Studio provides all the instruments required for classes, including supports, elastic bands, weights, and fitballs, as well as four hammocks and three sets of wall ropes designed to facilitate gentle spinal decompression.

The Classes

Lessons and educational interventions are designed based on students’ learning needs, adapting teaching strategies to the context, level of preparation, and abilities demonstrated by the students. "Yoga Sensibile" classes focus on developing attention to action and sensation, emphasising proprioceptive awareness of the body, which, through the central and autonomic nervous systems, constantly informs us about its functioning.
